The KDI Journal of Economic Policy
Welcomes Your Contribution
The KDI Journal of Economic Policy (KDI JEP) publishes original and perceptive economic research on policy issues to provide both empirical and theoretical insight into global phenomena arising from socioeconomic development for governments, economists, and other decision makers. The journal covers a wide range of topics including macroeconomics, international trade, development economics, fiscal/monetary policy, public policy aspects of labor/education/health and welfare, industrial organization, and urban/regional economics.
First published in 1979, the KDI JEP brought light to mainly Korea’s economic development issues until 2015, when the journal was translated into English. Since then, the scope was broadened to encompass global issues on socioeconomic development in order to further exchange research findings with prominent scholars at home and abroad.
The editorial board is recently taking a step forward to list the KDI JEP in SCOPUS and SSCI in coming years. As an important achievement, we have improved our submission and dissemination processes as a global online system( Today, the journal is offering XML-based full text and utilizes Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which facilitates dissemination and access to research results. Also the entire refereeing process has been streamlined not to exceed two months.
The KDI JEP requires no submission fee and provides english editing services as well as honorarium for published papers. The KDI JEP welcomes all contributions and continues its efforts to become a world-renowned academic journal.
