Oh-Seok Hyun, President of Korea Development Institute (KDI), is holding the international conference, “Current Issues and Future Development of China’s Financial System,” on 22th July, 2011, which aims to review main issues of the Chinese financial market and its challenges, along with the outlook for future policy.

Issues to be dealt with in this conference include China’s macroeconomic trend and the analysis of corporate funding status, troubled assets held by commercial banks—which poses a threat to China’s economic growth today, current status of China’s real estate market, the inflow of hot money, and the globalization of the Chinese Yuan. In-depth discussions on them are expected to provide a structural analysis of the Chinese economy and implications for economic development for the future.
