greeting

We are pleased to invite you to the 「8th Seminar on Climate Change Projects and Programs(CCPP), on December 21st, 2022 at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul.

In pursuit of the goals of the Paris Agreement and global carbon neutrality, the Republic of Korea has been actively supporting its partner countries achieve their NDC targets and transition toward a low-carbon economy through climate technology and finance.

As part of this effort, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF) of Korea has been hosting the CCPP since 2015 as a platform to help partner countries build capacity to access climate finance, and strengthen their network with Korean stakeholders from both public and private sectors.

This year, the 8th CCPP will share recent trends in climate change projects and identify areas for partnership between Korea and developing countries. by inviting ambassadors from Korea’s partner countries, officials from the Green Climate Fund (GCF), Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), and World Bank Group (WBG), and Korean project managers, and looking at the best practices in climate projects that were or will be implemented by Korean institutions or companies.

In addition, the 「Guidebook on the Cooperation between Korea and Partner Countries」 will be distributed at the event venue to provide more substantive assistance to the attendees. The Guidebook contains exhaustive information on the climate change policies of partner countries, and Korea’s ODA policies and project implementation methods by sector.

We ask for your keen interest and active participation in this meaningful event which aims to strengthen the climate action capabilities of partner countries and identify potential climate project opportunities between Korea and its partner countries.

Thank you.
