It is our great pleasure to invite you to “International Conference of Public-Private Partnership(PPP)”, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the enactment of the PPP Act. The conference will be held on Tuesday, November 12th and Wednesday, the 13th, 2024, at the Fairmont Ambassador Hotel in Seoul.
Since 1994, the Korean government has actively promoted PPP projects to timely provide adequate infrastructure to the public according to its needs while also supplementing limited finances at the same time.
Through these efforts, 853 PPP projects have been successfully carried out, with a total investment reaching 146 trillion Korean won.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the enactment of the “Promotion of Private Capital into Social Overhead Capital Investment Act” in 1994. To commemorate this significant milestone, the Korean government seeks to share the achievements of major PPP projects and facilitate the exchange of opinions among various experts from domestic and international governments, the private sector, and academia. The event will provide an invaluable opportunity to discuss global trends and the future development direction of Korea's PPP projects.
