We are delighted to announce the launch of an online KSP annual report. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, our partner countries are particularly more vulnerable to development challenges. The report provides an overview of 2020/21 KSP projects focusing on their roles to collectively strengthen socioeconomic resilience and address global challenges.

This year's annual report introduces exemplary cases in three major categories: “inclusion” to sustain safe and healthy life of the people in partner countries; “co-prosperity” to ensure balanced business ecosystem and to build physical infrastructure for the promotion of socioeconomic development; and “innovation” to bolster digital competitiveness to support sectoral productivity increase.
The report also discusses Dissemination Conference as an example of reinforcing the existing partnership through sharing KSP results with the stakeholders from Korea and abroad. It also covers the KSP strategic studies for systematic project identification, planning, and operation, which include regional studies (India, Thailand, and Kenya), trend study (Trend Report: COVID-19 Response in New Southern Countries), basic analysis study of partner countries, and research on KSP e-government projects.

The Department of Macroeconomics is conducting researches on the macro economy and macroeconomic policy, particularly focusing on suggesting the analysis of macroeconomic trends and current status of the economy at home and abroad, the economic forecast, and the policy direction of the macro economy. The Department is also in charge of establishing, sustaining and maintaining various econometric models, based on which it analyses policy effects and develops a long-term economic forecast.Main Tasks
