Welcome to the KDI Center for Regulatory Studies Website
The Center for Regulatory Studies conducts theoretical/empirical analyses and research for the implementation of regulatory impact analyses and regulatory cost management in addition to cost and benefit analyses for regulatory proposals submitted by various ministries. It also offers educational programs and consulting services.
Furthermore, with the aim of enhancing the quality of regulations that can boost innovation and competition and protect the livelihood and safety of the public, the Center undertakes studies on regulatory design and implementation for respective major business types and functions to propel a well-founded regulatory reform.
In response to the growing necessity to restore social and economic dynamics of Korea through innovation and inclusion, the Center will continue to study and analyze regulatory reforms in order to serve a firm ground to build such system.
