The main theme of this study is to examine the structural
adjustment experiences of the Korean economy, with particular
emphasis on the period from the late 1970s to the present. In
this regard, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the period
since the late 1970s, it is imperative to investigate the Korean
economy and the government's policy focus from a historical
perspective after the Korean war.
