KDI recently held a meeting with a delegation from relevant institutions in Dubai,
to discuss potential cooperation in policy research and international collaboration.
During the meeting, KDI introduced its key research areas
as well as the roles of the Center for International Development (CID) and
the Public and Private Infrastructure Investment Management Center (PIMAC).
The two sides also exchanged views on possible cooperation in a wide range of areas,
including public investment and public-private partnerships (PPP), social policy, and AI-driven administrative innovation.
The Dubai delegation shared its plan to send a large-scale delegation to Korea in the second half of this year
and expressed strong interest in exploring long-term cooperation and joint projects beyond a one-time institutional visit.
Both sides agreed to continue working-level discussions to identify concrete areas for future collaboration.
