Summary
This paper attempts to provide the past and current trends
of infrastructure development and financing in Korea. Section Ⅱ
explains the relationship between economic development and
infrastructure investment. In Section Ⅲ, several characteristics of
infrastructure financing is described. Section Ⅳ illustrates the
future infrastructure projects in preparing for the 21st century,
and Section Ⅴ discusses the methods for their resource
mobilization. The issue of international cooperation among the
APEC member countries is included in the final section.
