We cordially invite you to the 2026 International Conference on Economic Education, co-hosted by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Korea Development Institute (KDI).
This year’s theme is “Reconstructing Economic Education in the Age of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI): From Teaching Answers to Empowering Life Design.”
We aim to examine the core directions of economic education being pursued across the United States, Europe, and Asia in the era of AGI, assess the current landscape of economic education in Korea, and explore future directions.
Additionally, we will engage in collaborative discussions to establish new standards for economic education moving forward, while examining the latest educational practices taking place both within and outside the classroom.
We look forward to your keen interest and participation in this conference, which promises to foster in-depth and productive discussions on economic education both at home and abroad.
