KDI Office of the North Korean Economics Studies held the North Korean Economic Research Forum, under the title “The US-Korea Summit (Apr. 11) and the Prospect of the Korean Peninsula Situation,” on April 15, 2019. The Forum presented general evaluations of the Summit and discussed on inter-Korean and US-Korea relations in future denuclearization process and the prospect of the Korean peninsula situation.
The April issue contains two papers: “Estimating the Actual Number of North Korean Armed Forces and Future Projection” and “Policy Agenda for New Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Support after an Easing of North Korea Sanctions.”
