Amid the rapid changes driven by technology, globalization, and demgraphics, the Korean economy is faced with major economic and social challenges. And, growth is steadily declining after decades of strong progress, intensifying uncertainties and insecurities as job security and social mobility become more difficult to achieve.
The future of our economy rests with the people. Accordingly, urgent actions must be taken to accumulate and utilize human capital, strengthen social safety nets and bolster innovation. The ultimate goal must be to enhance quality of life through innovation and inclusion. During the forum, we hope to discuss strategies and policies needed to address and overcome some of these complex challenges that confront us today.
